The red in the chevron, and the coat it’s on, came from my father when he was in the Marines. The pin on the lapel is from his sister/my aunt, a souvenir of her trip to the Soviet Union back when it was a thing. My sister-in-law gave me the Captain America glasses case, and the Central Red Army hoodie was a Christmas present from her spouse/my brother. I think the playing cards come from my other brother, since he was the Red Wings fan. I found them in Grandma Mildred’s old desk. In the background is a red pillow my wife got in Korea, but not the red half.
