You’d think this Sutpen guy was spying on us. Yesterday he featured an unpenitent thief; today it’s an execution. When I saw this, I thought it was an electric chair, but I ran the photo through Google Image search to find this NY Daily News article that identifies it as a gas chamber. The Westinghouse logo made me think electric chair, but I didn’t think they left the eyes exposed for electrocution. Of course, if it was the chair, that logo would says something interesting about power relationships.
